I haven't changed my blog in a long time. With the old colored design, I had the option of an image instead of text in the banner, but I could never get it sized properly, so I gave up.
When I was working today to wind up my Photo Album of Finished Items for 2012, I explored Typepad for a while and found a new theme which made it easy to add a photo banner with my blog title. That's the plus. I can't do much to customize the rest of the blog design at the level I'm paying, and I haven't been blogging enough to justify paying more. I liked my old color scheme better; white might turn out to be too blah for me. But this is a fresh, clean look.
I'm going to try this out for awhile. If you want to leave a comment about blog design, I'll take it under consideration.
